Tank skids completed for Kaombo project

Frames completed three tank skids for the Total E&P Angolo Kaombo project. Saipem SA Energies awarded Frames a contract for a total of six pump skids, one vessel skid, two IRCD panels and three tank skids. In October 2015 Frames already delivered two flare KO Drums for the Kaombo project. Watch the first miles of the transport of the tank skids from The Netherlands to Singapore.
 
 

About the Kaombo project
Kaombo deep water Field Development Project, located in Block 32, offshore Angola in a water depth of 1650 meters. The Kaombo project will develop six of the 12 discoveries already made on Block 32. The six fields (Gengibre, Gindungo, Caril, Canela, Mostarda and Louro) cover an area of 800 km2 in the central and southeast part of the block.  First oil is expected in 2017. Total’s two FPSO units, each with a treatment capacity of 115,000 barrels per day, will process, store and offload the production.
