Frames has successfully secured an order for supply of FPSO based Slop Water Treatment Package for our client in Malaysia.

The Slop Water Treatment Package treats waste water to upgrade it to environmental requiremnts. This skid mounted unit is equipped with a Deoiling Hydrocyclone followed by a Coalescer Filter. Frames' clear communication and thorough technical knowledge was decisive for client to choose Frames for this project.

Frames has been awarded a Subsea Hydraulic System for FPSO in Brazil

Recently, one of our longtime customers awarded Frames with a contract to supply a Subsea Hydraulic System including Hydraulic Power Unit, ESDV panels, and an umbilical pressurization unit.

These packages will be used offshore Brazil to operate a large quantity of subsea wells. We look forward to again work together with this returning customer to meet the challenging delivery time and all-new design.

Contract award for the Slope Water Treatment Package

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully secured an order for the supply of FPSO based Slop Water Treatment Package for our client in Malaysia.We are very proud to present: www.framesrenewables.com.

This Slop Water Treatment Package is a skid-mounted unit and consists of proven technology of a Deoiling Hydrocyclone followed by a Coalescer Filter. The Slop Water fed from the upstream Slop Tanks will be treated in the Slop Water Treatment Package to meet treated water quality parameters as per regulations and requirements.

A clear communication with our client and thorough technical discussions were decisive for Frames to secure this project.

Chemical Injection Package delivered

Frames successfully delivered the Chemical Injection Package scope for a FPSO.

The scope exists of:

26x Chemical Injection Packages
5x Multicompartment Storage Tanks
2x 145m3 Storage Vessels

with a total shipped weight of 320 tons.

The equipment will be shipped to China for further integration onto the FPSO!

Delivery of Electrostatic Coalescer

The Electrostatic Coalescer will be installed on board of an FPSO. This vessel uses our renewed design for the process internals. For this project, we have delivered a complete package including transformers, mixing valve and Local Control Panel.

Electrochlorination Package for FPSO Carioca MV30 of MODEC

Frames is supplying an electrochlorination package to MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., a group company of MODEC, Inc. (MODEC) that is a Japanese owner/operator and EPCI general contractor of floating production systems including Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, to prevent biofouling of seawater systems on the FPSO Carioca MV30. Operated by MODEC group for Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras), the FPSO to be deployed in the Santos Basin’s Sepia field, 250 kilometres off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Frames Electrochlorination Package is being installed to generate and inject the required sodium hypochlorite into the FPSO’s seawater systems. Production of hypochlorite involves using electrolysis to convert sodium chloride in seawater into sodium hypochlorite. Frames’ Hypochlorite Generation System comprises electrolyser modules containing a number of electrolyser cells that determine the total hypochlorite production capacity of the unit. Hydrogen gas produced as a by-product of electrolysis is removed by degassing.

The Frames Electrochlorination System uses self-cleaning cell technology provided by its partner Evoqua Water Technologies. Self-cleaning increases process safety by eliminating the need for acid cleaning during operation and reduces the electrochlorination package’s operating cost.

“Self-cleaning is a key benefit of our electrochlorination anti-fouling systems,” says Sjoert Bolhuis, Product Specialist - Chemical Injection and Electrochlorination, Frames. “It gives offshore operators a ‘fit and forget’ systems approach to preventing biofouling of seawater systems and optimising flow assurance.”

FPSO Carioca MV30

The FPSO Carioca MV30 will be capable of processing 180,000 barrels of crude oil per day, 212 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, 240,000 barrels of water injection per day and has storage capacity of 1,400,000 barrels of crude oil.
