Skarv FPSO

The BP Skarv field is approximately 210 kilometers west of the Norwegian coast in water depths of approximately 350-450 meters. Discovered in 1998, the field has an estimated ultimate recovery of around 100 million barrels of oil and condensate and over 1.5 trillion cubic feet of rich gas. The field development includes a new highly-advanced FPSO purpose-built for harsh waters with an anticipated maximum production rate of  165,000 boe/d.

  • 2 Contactor vessel (50% flow each)
  • 1 Glycol Regeneration Module for 100% glycol flow
  • 1 H2S Scavenger Injection Package with H2S Scavenger Mixer
  • Chemical Injection Package, comprising 2 off injection skids and 2 off IRCD racks
  • 1 Seal Isolation System consisting:
    • 2 off static local pressurization units
    • 7 off dynamic local pressurization units
    • 1 Hydraulic Power unit
    • 1 local leak unit
    • 1 off leak recuperation system
  • 1 Hydraulic Power Unit to operate the Turret ESD Valves
