Dehydration based on glycol absorption technology
For this project the dehydration is based on glycol absorption technology. The scope of the glycol dehydration unit consists of a loose supplied contactor vessel completed with all the instrumentation and valves, a skid mounted glycol regeneration unit and separate ejector skid. The dehydration takes place in the gas treatment section of the process, between the first and second compression stage of the export compressor.
For safety, the dehydration unit is equipped with passive fire protection on all critical equipment. This includes the piping and structural beams, fire and gas detectors on all levels, as well as a titanium seawater deluge system on all 3 decks. This was all installed prior to delivery.
Due to extensive experience in the design, fabrication, and supply of gas dehydration units for numerous offshore projects for the North Sea, we were able to supply modular units in accordance with all the international standards including the NORSOK standard.
TEG Regeneration Chemical Injection package
PH control and antifoam injection can be interchanged with each other both on the suction and discharge sections. A single multi-compartment tank provides 2x 500 liter gross storage capacity for each chemical service. Both injection systems comprise SS904L tubing, with SS316 fittings, and SS316 valve equipment attached to the SS316L tank to eliminate carbon steel skid work. The package is suitable for highly saline and corrosive offshore environments.
Summed up:
- Compact design, with integrated pump/instrument hook-up
- Dimensions 2000 x 1500 x 1750 mm (length x width x height)
- Multi-compartment tank, blast load proof
- Air driven diaphragm pumps, API-675
In compliance with the NORSOK standard.
