Clair Ridge Platform
Clair Ridge is the second development phase of the BP-operated Clair field. At a depth of approximately 140 meters, Clair Ridge lies 75km to the west of the Shetland Islands, and extends over 220km². The project comprises two new bridge-linked platforms housing production, accommodation and drilling facilities, as well as a new pipeline infrastructure that connects the field to processing facilities on the Shetland Islands. The Clair Ridge development is scheduled to produce an estimated 640 million barrels of oil over a 40-year period, with production expected to peak at 120,000 barrels of oil per day.
