Process Engineer

Your job

As a Process Engineer at Frames you’ll be working in multidisciplinary teams and will be responsible for the process design of our packages. You’ll be early involved in projects, starting with conceptual design during the sales stage and continuing with basic and detail engineering after the project award. During commissioning and startup activities of delivered packages you’ll provide support to our site team.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing process calculations using simulation software as UniSim®, ProMax® or ProTreat® Performing sizing calculation of various process equipment (vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.)
  • Preparing engineering deliverables such as: Heat & Mass Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Equipment Datasheets, Narratives, etc.
  • Performing and evaluating process design and ensuring that it complies with client specifications and applicable standards
  • Representing process discipline in cost and planning development of projects
  • Participating in Hazard and Operability Reviews (HAZOPs) and other safety studies
  • Acting as a point of contact for technical communication with suppliers and clients
  • Evaluating supplier quotations and reviewing engineering documentation prepared by others
  • Closely working together with colleagues from other engineering disciplines, sales and project department and providing technical support
  • Preparing operator trainings
Your experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering or similar study
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • 2-5 years working experience
  • Ability to speak and write English at a professional level
  • Good organizational skills
  • Located in the Netherlands with a Dutch working permit
  • Experience with process simulation software e.g. UniSim® is preferred
  • Experience in upstream Oil&Gas industry is preferred
Our offer

We offer you a fulltime job in an international environment. Your actual salary will be based upon your experience level and varies from €2.700 to €4.000. You’ll have great responsibility and the freedom that comes with it. A daily lunch, flexible work hours, 25 leave days and reimbursement of travel expenses are included among other benefits, like an interesting study arrangement.
