Removing CO2 is integral part of our gas upgrading roots. Capturing CO2 from flue gas streams is a natural extension of these roots. Separating CO2 from flue gasses of Industry and (Bio)Waste combustion plants into concentrated CO2 allows for reduction of the carbon footprint but is often also an attractive business propositions.

The real challenge in Capturing CO2 from flue gasses lies in the typical low concentrations of CO2 in this flue gas and therefore also low driving forces which requires an inventive and selective capture solution. At the same time the capture solution should be able to deal with flue gas pollutants but stay cost effective. As green technology it should also be assured that the CO2 capture technology creates no emission of its own. 

Frames is able to provide clients with an advanced CO2 capture solution based on accelerated salt technology. This flue gas washing technology is based on a family (Galloxol®) of environmentally friendly, stable and economical washing liquids which are operated in an optimised absorptive desorption cycle.
